First, let me tell
you what you won't get with my professional resume critique service.
You won't get a sales "hook" to sell you additional services. If you’ve ever
signed up for a free critique, you know what I’m talking about. I don't use
my professional resume critique service as a marketing tool to sell you expensive resume rewrite
services.
You also won’t get
just a checklist ranking various aspects of your resume on a good/bad scale
or a narrative telling you what’s wrong with your resume but without any
guidance on how to fix it. Those are the types of things you get with a free
critique.
What you
will get with my professional resume critique service is a 6 to 9 page objective and
impartial report on your resume with actual advice and examples on how you
can improve it. If I offered free critiques, I'd have to try to sell you
something or I couldn't stay in business.

free resume critiques vs. paid resume critiques.
Here’s what
you get with my professional resume critique service:
-
You’ll receive a professional critique of your resume that will include specific recommendations for improving the
approach, structure, presentation, organization, content, and grammar of
your resume. My professional resume critique service is nothing at all like the free
critiques you may have seen. When I critique your resume, you get a
guide and a roadmap for reworking your resume into a strong and
effective document.
-
You’ll receive a resume template set up with your main headings,
sections, etc., along with my recommendations on what information to
include and how to present it.
-
You’ll receive a professional critique of your cover letter, also with specific
recommendations for improving it. If you don’t have a cover letter, I’ll
give you a sample you can modify.
When I finish your
professional resume critique, you’ll have all the information you need to rework your
resume into an excellent presentation. My clients are able to produce
excellent presentations just by following my recommendations and using the
templates I provide.
